The non-government organization Sentro para sa Ikauunlad ng Katutubong Agham at Teknolohiya (Center for the Development of Indigenous Science and Technology), or SIKAT, implements community-based coastal resource management and disaster risk reduction programs to build up the resilience of coastal communities. Established in 1991, SIKAT counts endangered species management as among its pet projects and programs.

We designed a series of posters to help SIKAT promote its conservation efforts. The goal of these posters is to encourage the community of Romblon to protect wildlife that is indigenous to the province, namely, whale sharks (butanding), giant clams (taklobo), dolphins (lumba lumba), and sea turtles (pawikan).
